A woman ties Rakhi to actor Sonu Sood at his residence

Sonu Sood has been helping a lot of people during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sonu Sood has been regarded as a saviour for thousands of people ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit India last year. The actor not only helped migrant workers reach their hometowns during the peak of lockdown in 2020 but also answered SOS calls for medicines and hospital beds during the deadly ongoing second wave of the disease. Apart from helping people in need, Sonu also manages to win hearts with his gestures.

Recently, a video was shared by Manav Manglani on Instagram wherein a lady was trying a rakhi on the actor. This video was captured outside Sonu Sood’s home, where several people gather daily, asking him for his help. The caption of the post read, “Here are some fresh new visuals from @Sonu_Sood’s house today! A woman also tied Rakhi to him today and it was truly the moment of the day.”

Sonu, however, asked the lady not to touch his feet. The woman then said, “Aap mere Bhai ki tarah ho (You are like a brother to me).” Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “Here are some new visuals from Actor / Philanthropist @SonuSood’s house today! Earlier, some fans in Andhra Pradesh poured milk on his feet long photograph to showcase their love and appreciation for his work during COVID. A video of the same had gone viral on social media.
On which the actor said, “These are very tough times. Every morsel of food and every drop of milk counts. The nation is suffering. We are all trying to help in our ways. So I’d urge my fans to not use milk and other expensive items to show their appreciation. Your love reaches out to me anyway. You don’t have to show it. Use that resource to help the needy.”
