Armaan Kohli detained under narcotics case: his custody increased by a day by the court

Armaan Kohli, the actor who appeared before a local court on Sunday afternoon, was detained in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till Monday. As per sources, the court in the current narcotics case prolonged his imprisonment for one day.
Ajay Raju Singh, a drug dealer who was also brought before the court today, had his detention extended for another day.

This came the day after the NCB detained the actor in relation with the narcotics incident on Saturday. He was detained under NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act sections 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, and 35.

On Saturday evening, NCB Mumbai searched Armaan’s home in suburban Andheri and reportedly discovered a little amount of cocaine from his possession, following which he was detained for further questioning. He was discovered intoxicated at the time of the arrest, according to NCB officials.
“Following the operation, actor Armaan Kohli provided unclear responses to NCB-posed questioning. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the NCB office for interrogation “NCB Zonal Director (Mumbai) Sameer Wankhede  told.

In addition, the NCB apprehended an accused drug paddler identified Ajay Raju Singh from the Haji Ali neighbourhood of Worli, Mumbai, and seized 25 g of MD narcotics from him.
The suspect is an old history-sheeter, and his name came up during his interrogation, prompting the NCB to raid the actor’s home.
