Cops not answerable as to why Raj Kundra’s detention was delayed for approximately 4 months

Raj Kundra was detained on July 19 on suspicion of creating and distributing pornographic video content on apps such as Hotshots. Numerous unclear facts of the case have come to light after his detention. Nevertheless, a recent Mirror Now report has asked why police did not arrest Raj Kundra in February 2021, despite proof.

For the uninitiated, the pornographic film business was discovered at Mumbai’s Madh Island in February 2021. At the period, actress Gehana Vasisth, together with a few others and executive Umesh Kamat, was detained.

According to the report, multiple remand copies, information from the original chargesheet in the matter, court arguments, and evidences linked to Kundra’s detention were really available to cops in February.
Despite these facts, the millionaire was only apprehended in July. During the February scandal, actress Gehana Vasisth confessed that she used to film and create pornographic video for Raj Kundra’s application Hotshots, as well as for Arvind Shrivastav aka Yash Thakur.

During interrogation, arrested suspect Umesh Kamat revealed to police that he had worked for Kundra. Not only that, but many WhatsApp conversations between the two have come to light.

According to authorities, to evade the law, Kundra allegedly transferred Hotshots app to brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi’s Kenrin Limited.
However for Bakshi, he allegedly made payments to Gehana and other convicted who used to sell the adult material. Despite a slew of information, Kundra was only apprehended in July. Kundra paid authorities to the tune of about Rs 25 lakh to avoid arrest, according to an earlier in a report by Mid-Day.

Raj Kundra is presently being held in judicial custody alongside another co-accused, Ryan Thorpe, who worked as a technical colleague for their application Hotshots.
