FIR filed against actor Rajat Bedi for running a man with his car, the victim in severe shape

On Monday evening, actor Rajat Bedi hits a man with his car. FIR has been filed.

Rajat Bedi, who is known best for his role in Koi…Mil Gaya as Raj Saxena, is making headlines in the news. The actor has been charged in the case of hitting a man with his car. Victim, Rajesh Ramsingh Doot was going back to his home after work on Monday and is a D N Nagar resident who got hit by Rajat’s car around 6.30 pm. He is now in critical condition. Rajat, himself took the victim to Cooper hospital and got him admitted.

An FIR has been filed against Rajat under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, and Motor Vehicles Act, said a senior inspector at DN Nagar police station. But no arrest had been made yet.

Talking to the victim’s wife, Babita Doot said that her spouse was drunk at the moment of the misfortune and sustained injuries to the back of his head. The actor himself admitted the victim to the Cooper hospital and promised to help the family but left after a while and did not came back.

Meanwhile, the doctor who is treating Rajesh Doot said that he is in critical condition as he sustained head injuries. He is transferred to the ICU room and is on oxygen support, and needs blood urgently.

On the work front, Rajat played the antagonist Raj Saxena, in Koi Mil Gaya, starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. He also worked with Salman Khan and Govinda, in the film partner. His other films include Rakht, Aksar, and Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee.
