Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife, Shalini Talwar, files a domestic violence case against him. Shalini’s demand for compensation of ₹20 crores will be heard on the next hearing date.
Lately, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh had been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. A few days back, the rapper’s wife, Shalini Talwar, filed a domestic violation case against him. According to the sources Honey Singh appeared before the judge Delhi’s Tis Hazari court on September 3rd. ANI used its Twitter handle to share photos of the event.
Shalini Talwar, in her reports, said that she had been subjected to multiple incidences of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. She is seeking compensation of Rs 20 crore from Honey Singh. The judge is conducting the proceedings in his chamber and is counseling the couple. According to the latest reports, Shalini has cried in court and claiming that she had given her husband ten years of her life and had always stayed by him but in return he abandoned her.
On August 28, Singh’s counsel Ishaan Mukherjee told the court that the rapper could not appear before the judge as he was ill. The counsel assured the court that Singh would appear before the court on the next date of hearing. The judge is conducting the proceedings in his chamber and is counseling the couple. The proceedings are being video recorded. Honey Singh’s lawyer has also submitted his income report to the court in a sealed envelope.
Shalini accused the singer of having many women for sex. The rapper denied all the allegations and released a statement stating that he was deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against him and his family by her companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs. Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. Honey Singh has been associated with the industry for over 15 years and has worked with artists and musicians across the country.
