Konkona Sen Sharma says “Privilege to age as opposed to die tragically young” as a reaction to her follower’s comment

Konkona recently posted a picture where fan commented on her ageing

Konkona Sensharma responded with a funny reaction when a fan praised her ability and stated it was a shame to watch her ‘age.’ It all began with the actor posting photographs of her pet on Instagram and talking about how the pandemic turned her into a dog parent.

“Last lockdown, I saved this darling, but she is my first dog, and I may not have been able to properly teach her,” Konkona said, adding, “Very  pleased to have sent my Pepita here for toilet training, leash training, and overall confidence building.” Thank you, @mitalisalvi and crew! Also, how goofy does my Pepita look.”

When Zoya Akhtar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sandhya Mridul, and others left beautiful remarks on the photo post, it was a comment from a fan that caught Konkona’s notice. The individual commended Konkona as an actress and also stated that Bollywood has failed to give her honor as an artist.
“It’s extremely terrible to see you becoming older. Your type of talents were not treated fairly by the industry. You were my high school crush. After Ek Thi Daayan, I wished to see you frequently. You are simply incredible,” the comment stated. In return, Konkona said, “Aww, don’t be upset. It is a blessing to be able to age rather than die terribly young.”

Many of Konkona’s admirers praised both the actress and her pet. A remark read, “Most gorgeous post on the internet today,” while another said, “How wonderful are you looking, Koko”
In an interview recently, the actor stated that she does not conform to prescribed norms and is uninterested in film business trends. “I don’t mind. I’m uninterested in what the industry is doing, what the trends are, or how it is changing. I’m no longer interested. I’m simply doing my own thing to keep my life interesting. However, I hope that (the industry) is doing well. I’m completely immersed in the present. I only do things that fascinate me. I never intended to act or direct films, thus I never planned anything. I have always gone with the flow,” Konkona told PTI.

Konkona was most recently seen in Ajeeb Daastaans. She co-starred in Neeraj Ghaywan’s Geeli Pucchi with Aditi Rao Hydari.

Konkona will appear in the films The Rapist and Scholarship. She did her directorial debut in 2017, A Death In The Gunj, is presently available on Amazon Prime Video.
