NCB take down major drug peddler Ajay Raju Singh after arresting actor Armaan Kholi in the drug case
The NCB official said that the raid on Armaan Kohli was based on Raju’s statement. Kohli was questioned and arrested under several charges of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid at Bollywood actor Armaan Kholi’s residence in Mumbai, an official said on Saturday evening.
NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede led the raid at actor’s bungalow number 10, situated in Vikas Park society at Juhu house. The search started around 2 pm and went on for six hours during which a small quantity of Cocaine was allegedly seized from his house. The raid was part of the agency’s ‘Rolling Thunder’ operation to bust the network of drug peddlers and suppliers in Mumbai said Wankhede.
The NCB needs his custodial investigations to trace information relating to the supply of the contraband. Kohli, who had acted in Bollywood motion pictures like Jaani Dushman, Qahar, Juaari, Dushman Zamana, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was questioned until Saturday night after a small number of drugs was recovered from his residence in Andheri on Saturday.
Meanwhile, NCB Mumbai conducted a raid and intercepted one drug peddler Ajay Raju Singh from near Haji Ali area and recovered 25 grams of MD from him. The said accused is a history-sheeter as he has been previously involved in a 2018 case of ANC Mumbai wherein a large quantity of Ephedrine was recovered. Officials said that he is a big-time drug supplier.
