Payal Rohatgi lands in trobule due to her recent video on Social media

FIR lodged against Payal for saying objectionable remarks regarding Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi

Payal Rohatgi is facing legal action for one of her online networking videos. After a FIR against her ‘defamatory’ video, a case against the actor was filed in Pune. As per ANI, Payal Rohatgi is facing charges under sections 153 (a), 500, 505(2), and 34 of the IPC for reportedly uttering objectionable remarks regarding Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi in a video uploaded on social networking sites.

According to some of the sources, Pune District Congress general secretary Sangeeta Tiwari filed a complaint with Shivajinagar police.

Payal Rohatgi made news the year before when she was arrested by police in Rajasthan. She got in problems because of a social media video in which she reportedly made derogatory remarks against former Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, his father Motilal Nehru, and the whole Nehru family. According to ANI, Charmesh Sharma, a Youth Congress leader, filed a case towards Payal under sections 66 and 67 of the IT Act, but she was released on bail by a municipal court in Bundi, Rajasthan.

Payal Rohatgi is known for her controversial statements and this is not the first time she has landed herself in then trouble for speaking recklessly, but we do hope it is the last time, and she doesn’t land in trouble again.
