When Prabhas declined a 18 crores brand endorsement due to this reason

Brands often bank on the popularity of celebs to attract viewers as stars provide a higher degree of the consumer.
Earlier, his spokesperson had revealed that Prabhas had declined endorsements worth 18 crores. “Yes, Prabhas has been approached by several brands. Although he hasn’t agreed to any of them as of now, he has declined a whopping 18 crore worth of brand endorsement,” says the actor’s spokesperson had told Hindustan Times in a 2017 interview.
In fact, in the past, director SS Rajamouli also spilled the beans on how Prabhas let go of brand endorsements worth 10 crores to focus on his film.

On the other side, celebrities associated with brands stay in the limelight and earn huge amount of money. However, it looks like Saaho star, Prabhas has a different perspective. He has rejected large brand endorsement offers in recent times. From apparel to electronics to FMCG, all categories of brands, prestigious and coveted have offered the actor to come on board as their ambassador for big bucks.
An industry source reveals, “Prabhas is a household name and his popularity cuts across the length and breadth of not just the country but even overseas.
The source informed that Prabhas understands the position he is at and therefore prefers using it wisely. Hence this makes it difficult to get him on board and also makes him exclusive.
Talking about his films, Prabhas will be next seen in Radhe Shyam opposite Pooja Hegde. While the film was scheduled to hit the screens on July 30, the makers have pushed the release due to the pandemic crisis.

Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Krishnam Raju, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sathyan, Murali Sharma and Sasha Chettri in key roles.
It is produced under the banners of UV Creations, Gopikrishna Pictures and T-Series. The film will be released in six languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, English and Kannada.
