Producer Ryan Stephan passes away of COVID-19 in Goa

Many Bollywood Celebrities Mourns Loss and Paid Tribute To Late Ryan Stephan

Ryan Ivan Stephen is a writer and producer. He debuted his career producing the multi-starer suspense short film “Devi” (2020). He was also the co-founder of a production house Electric Apples Entertainment. Ryan Stephen started his career in the entertainment industry as a club reporter with a film magazine. Over years, he worked with publications such as Showtime and Stardust and even as a film consultant on web-portal Mazaa Media.
Ryan had recently produced Kiara Advani’s ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’. Ryan was associated with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Ryan Ivan Stephen, who was suffering from the coronavirus, breathed his last today (May 29) morning at Goa. After contracting the virus, Ryan was admitted to a hospital in Goa where he was being treated for over two weeks. Indoo Ki Jawani director, Abir Sengupta confirmed the news of Ryan’s death to indianexpress.com. Calling his passing “heartbreaking,” he said, “Ryan passed away this morning. He was battling Covid-19. He was in Goa, his friends and family are doing arrangements for his funeral.”
His death left everybody heartbroken. Many actors directors tweeted and posted stories mourning his death.

Multi-talented Farhan Akhtar also tweeted to remember the late filmmaker.

Filmmaker and writer Suparn Varma took to Twitter and wrote, “Life is cruel! But you were kind! Ryan, thank you for your compassion in a ruthless world. I’m glad we undertook a journey on a few stories, the joy in writing them was because of you. You leave behind so many who loved you. Cook up a storm my friend. God bless you,”

Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, which also co-produced Indoo Ki Jawani, paid homage to Stephen, remembering him as a kind and compassionate person.

The second wave of the novel coronavirus has hit the country hard. The industry has also lost celebrities like actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, composer Shravan Rathod, Marathi actor Vira Sathidar and others during the second wave of the coronavirus.
He also collaborated with TV channels such as MTV, Zoom, Zee and 9XM for various work and a brief period, worked as a PR representative for movies like Jism, Paap, Rog and LOC.
