Riteish Deshmukh reacts after Twitter user accuses him of being biased against religious festivals, here’s his reply

Riteish Deshmukh’s tweet about weight gain during Hindu festivals was called as bias against a ‘Hindu festival’ by a Twitter user. The actor has now replied.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh responded to a Twitter user who was offended by his tweet about festive sweets and weight reduction. On Thursday, Riteish shared a post including the costs of famous Indian sweets alongside the expense it would take to lose festival weight.

The post mentioned the costs of sweets, such as laddu, jalebi, kaju barfi and chocolate. It likewise included the heavy amount one would need to pay to lose the weight and added, ‘choose wisely.’ Riteish shared the tweet with the caption, “I thought I should warn you !!!!”

However, one Twitter user retweeted the post and asked Riteish in Hindi: “You people are enlightened only during Sanatani (Hindu) festivals only? Eid ya New Year ya Christmas par muh mein dahi jama lete ho! (Cat’s gets your tongue on festivals such as Eid, New Year, or Christmas!)”

Reacting to the tweet, , Riteish said, “Sorry sir – Main Vegan hoon, dahi nahi khaata (Sorry sir, I’m vegan. I don’t eat curd.)”

As of late, when Riteish and wife Genelia D’Souza on Pinch 2, have Arbaaz Khan perused out certain remarks from trolls who told Genelia to hit him with a slipper. To which, Riteish reacted, “Jhadoo ne kya bura kiya (why can’t she choose a broom)?”

Another troll asked that Riteish to focus on his wife after watching the viral video of him kissing Preity Zinta’s hands while Genelia checked out him out of anger. ” Totally his fault. He should focus on his wife more,” the troll commented. Responding to it, Riteish said, “You focus on your wife, not on mine.”
