Well-known film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and superstar Salman Khan are good to go to reunite after a long time. The director-actor duo were set to rejoin for the film Inshallah, in any case, it was at last shelved only days before it was scheduled to go on the floors. Currently, according to a most recent report in Pinkvilla, the duo is set to rejoin for SK’s docu-series, Beyond The Star. The docu-series pictures Salman Khan’s journey in Bollywood and will likewise give an insight into his own life, his equation with his co-stars and friends, and more.
The report shows that the makers of the docu-series began moving toward the director, producers, actors with some getting a request from Salman Khan himself. It further added, “Bhansali was one of those and the filmmaker immediately agreed to be a part of this docu-series. He has already shot for his portions and shared his personal stories of friendship and affection with Salman.”
“They are not planning to collaborate on a feature film anytime soon, but they keep interacting on and off over the call-in times of need. There is no bad blood despite Inshallah being abruptly put on hold,” the report added.
The series is taking shape for an OTT giant. It will be jointly produced by Salman Khan Films with Wiz Films and Applause Entertainment. Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali prior duo worked on the film ‘Murmur Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The film additionally featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.
