Sidharth Shukla fans salutes his mother Rita Shukla for standing strong after her unbearable loss

#RitaMaa was trending on Twitter.

The television industry has lost a talented gem on September 2 and a mother to her beloved son. Those who have watched Bigg Boss 13 will remember the episode when Rita Shukla came on the show and won the hearts of people for being the doting mother to her son Sidharth Shukla.

On Friday, she was snapped at the Oshiwara crematorium. A part of her ‘Big Boss 13’ avatar was completely lost after the death of her son. On social media, Sidharth Shukla’s followers seem to have adopted the grieving mother, Rita Shukla. For a few times, the hashtag #RitaMaa was trending on Twitter. People were sympathizing with the mother.

Few even remembered the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ episode where Rita Shukla arrived in a ‘family special’ in 2019, advising her son to dress well, comb his hair and spread happiness — as any concerned mother would.

For the last two days, Rita Shukla has been receiving empathy and condolences from few Bollywood celebrities such as Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Rakhi Sawant, Asim Riaz, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, Prince Narula, Aly Goni, and Rahul Vaidya, among many others, at her home in Mumbai.

Not only Bollywood stars but Hollywood star and WWE champion John Cena paid his tribute to the late television actor Sidharth Shukla on Saturday.

He uploaded a monochrome image of Sidharth Shukla on his Instagram. He did not caption the post. The post received more than 300,000 likes in two hours and has gone viral on the photo-sharing website.

The post was also liked by two Bollywood celebrities- Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.

This is not the first time when John Cena uploaded a picture of an Indian actor. The previous year he paid tributes to late actors Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput on social media.

Sidharth Shukla was a popular face in the television industry who lost his life battle because of cardiac arrest. He was just 40 years old. His last rites took place on Friday in the Oshiwara crematorium.
