When the choosy nature with the script made Govinda reject Salman Khan’s remake of a Marathi film

Bollywood’s all time favorite Govinda did not go ahead with one of Salman’s movies as his expectations did not comply with the script.

Salman Khan’s films have gone to become the largest blockbusters in Bollywood. There was a time when Govinda was on the lead too and around this time he had worked with Salman in films like Partner and Salaam-e-ishq.

Govinda has his own unique sense of comedy and dance which entertains the audience. After break in his career, he worked with Salman Khan in his movie Partner. However, when he was offered the script for another Salman Khan movie which was supposed to be a remake of a Marathi movie, Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. He says that he did not enjoy the script much and so he had to turn the offer down. At that time, Govinda was in desparate need of work by since his thoughts did not comply with the construct of the script, he found it absurd to give in for a story which was based on a father who caned his son to study rather than chasing his cricket passion. The Marathi film which was directed by Mangesh Manjrekar was a big hit and was remade into several Indian languages including Telegu, Bengali and Punjabi.

The comedy special of Saregama little champs had recently invited  Govinda as their special guest. He also visited the sets of Maharashtra’s best dancer. Govinda fans are always excited to watch the episodes of his special entries and all the fun that goes around.
