‘Unease began at 3 AM,’ family of Sidharth Shukla discloses details
Sidharth Shukla was feeling chest pain and asked for cold water.
Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, famously known for his role in the long-running TV serial Balika Vadhu, died in Mumbai after a cardiac arrest on Thursday. The actor, 40 years old, is survived by his mother and two sisters. A Cooper Hospital spokesperson said here that the actor was ‘brought dead” in the morning.
After the sudden death of Sidharth, the Mumbai Police on Thursday informed that a chemical analysis would be done as part of the post-mortem procedure of the late actor. The three-four hour-long procedures will be done by a team comprising five medical professionals, as per sources.
While recording the statement from the family, Mumbai Police came to know certain things. In the statement to the police, the family detailed the whole scenario and, told that he was fine till evening and it was only around 3-4 AM that the actor started feeling a bit uneasy, and complained of chest pain. He asked for cold water, and went to sleep, said the family. Adding that again in the morning, he complained of chest pain and asked for water. While drinking water, he fell unconscious and was rushed to the Cooper Hospital, where he was declared dead before admission.
